
I never miss an opportunity to say "We have a Quick Byte article for that!" Last week in a meeting, someone mentioned running into the frustrating "Headers Too Large" error, and when I dug up our guide, I realized it was originally published back in February 2024.
Because this error still pops up when accessing UMN sites, here is the fastest way to clear it. If you are getting the "Bad Message 431: Request Header Fields Too Large" error, just click the link below, and select the "Delete these cookies!" button:
