Using Google Docs Placeholder Smart Chips

Monday Minute Header
Smart chips in Google Docs are functions that you can insert into your document when you type @. Functions such as adding a date, people, files, places, polls, etc. When inserted into the document, they contain concrete data like the date, name of a person or link to a file.

The Placeholder chip is a replaceable chip for people, dates, files, events and places that can be inserted into a document and filled in by collaborators. When they hover or click on a chip, a search menu opens and they can add the content of the smart chip.
