How to set Google Forms to close by date or response count
Google has added two features to Google Forms that allow you to set a specific date and time to close the form, or set a certain number of responses that trigger the form to close automatically. Previously, these features had to be done manually, or you had to use a different tool.
How to use the new features
Note: These options are only available in a Published form.
- Open your form and click Published
- Click Set close date or response limit
- Select On a date to select a date and time to close the form or select After a number of responses to enter a response limit
- Click Edit Message (pen) to edit the message that is displayed when the form is closed for responses
- Click Save
