Microsoft has announced that Microsoft Publisher will be discontinued on October 13, 2026. After this date, it will no longer be included in Microsoft 365, and will no longer be supported. While Extension does not have any official Microsoft Publisher templates, some of you may have used it for specific projects.
What to use instead of Publisher
- Extension templates are available for many types of publications. Explore the many templates available on the Extension intranet.
- Canva software is available for certain Extension personnel.
What to do if you have Microsoft Publisher files
Review existing Publisher files and determine if they are still needed. Publisher files do not directly convert well to other formats. Contact Michael Donahue for assistance with converting Microsoft Publisher files.
