You may notice a pop-up message in the corner of your computer screen that says, "Action needed for eduroam". Due to essential security enhancements, the certificate that helps your device securely connect to the eduroam network sometimes needs to be renewed.
What to Look For:
You might have already seen a notification like this in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen:
If you see it, great! Simply click on it to update your certificate.
It's easy to dismiss a notification, or perhaps your computer isn't quite ready for the update yet. Don't worry, you can manually check your eduroam status:
Click the Wi-Fi (computer icon) in your system notification area (lower right corner of your screen).
Near the wifi symbol, click the arrow. In the list of available networks, look for "eduroam."
If it needs attention, it will clearly state "Action Needed" next to it. Click on eduroam and then click "Connect" to renew your certificate.
