A New Way to Customize Your Chrome Toolbar

A New Way to Customize Your Chrome Toolbar

With the new Customize Chrome feature, you can now pin your favorite tools and shortcuts directly to the toolbar. My favorites are Tab Search, New Incognito Window, Reading List, Create QR Code and Downloads, but there are many more!

Here's how to do it.

  1. At the top-right of your browser, click the Chrome menu (three dots).

  2. Go to More Tools > Customize Chrome.

  3. A side panel will open. Click Toolbar and you will see list of toolbar button options—like Bookmarks, Print, Search with Google Lens, and more.

  4. Choose the features you use most, and pin them. They’ll show up in your toolbar at the top.

TIP: You can rearrange buttons on your toolbar by dragging them.

Pinning your most-used tools will save time and keep everything you need right where you want it. Give it a try and make Chrome work better for you!
