Managing Recurring Zoom Meetings/Webinars: How to modify event dates

Modifying Event Dates for Recurring Zoom Meetings/Webinars

When scheduling a recurring Zoom meeting or webinar, you'll set a meeting cadence, such as "Monthly on the first Tuesday" or "Weekly on Wednesdays." However, if a meeting falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled, you can modify individual occurrences without changing the entire series or creating a new meeting link.

How to Adjust a Single Meeting in a Recurring Series:

  1. Schedule your recurring meeting/webinar. Set up the event with a cadence that works for most occurrences.
  2. Edit an individual meeting date.
    • In the Zoom portal, locate your recurring meeting.
    • Click the Edit button next to the specific date you need to change.
    • When prompted, select Edit This Occurrence.
Edit Recurring Meeting. Edit This Occurrence, Edit Entire Series, Cancel
    •  Modify the date, time, or duration as needed and click Save.
Your updated meeting will retain the same Zoom link for all participants.
