Review last year's calendar
Reviewing your last year's Google calendar can be helpful when working on performance reviews, setting goals and assessing how you spent your time. Here are a few reasons why it is beneficial and how you can efficiently search your Google Calendar to streamline the process:
- Highlight your achievements and milestones. Your calendar can help remind you of projects, milestones and achievements you've accomplished over the year.
- Setting goals. Reflecting on last year’s accomplishments and challenges can help with goal-setting for the new year.
- Identify patterns and trends. By looking back at your calendar, you can identify patterns in your schedule. Were there certain months where you were busier than others? Did specific recurring meetings or events dominate your time?
- Assess how you spent your time. Looking back on your calendar allows you to see how you allocated your time. Did you spend too much time in meetings and not enough on deep work? Were there any projects that took longer than expected? How was your work-life balance?
