Undo send is your friend!

Monday Minute

We've all be there. Hitting send on an email only to discover a typo, missing email recipient or attachment. Luckily the Undo Send feature in Gmail gives you up to a 30-second chance to recall your message and fix it.

The default time is set at only 5 seconds so I recommend you increase the time to 30 seconds in your settings.

  1. In Gmail, Open Settings
  2. Under the General tab, locate Undo Send
  3. Change the cancellation period to 30 seconds
  4. Click Save Changes at the bottom

Using Undo Send

Compose a message and click Send. Watch for a Message Sent box to show up in the lower left corner of the screen. If you want to recall your message click Undo
