Keyboard shortcuts to be thankful for



What keyboard shortcuts are you most thankful for? I bet many of you would say Ctrl + C (copy), Ctrl + X (cut) and Ctrl + V (paste). They are the most used shortcuts around. Building on our Killer Keyboard shortcuts from 2018, here are more shortcuts to add to your repertoire!

+ D        Show the Desktop

+ P           Quickly change display settings

Shift +  + S          Take a screenshot (full screen or cropped)

Ctrl + Shift + T           Reopen a tab you just closed

Ctrl + A         Select all text

Triple click          Select entire paragraph

Ctrl + N          Open a new window

Ctrl + T          Open a new tab

Ctrl + P          Print current page

Tab         Browse clickable items on a webpage

Ctrl + Shift + D         Save all open tabs as bookmarks in a folder

F6          Jump to the address bar

Ctrl + J         Open the downloads page

Ctrl + H          Open the History page in a new tab

Ctrl + Tab        Jump to the next open tab


 + Home         Minimizes all open windows but the active one

 + 1,2,3,4,...9          Launch each program on your taskbar

  2. Thank you! I love learning new shortcuts! Another one I learned recently that I use a TON is Ctrl + Shift + V to paste as plain text/paste without formatting
