Meet Caleb Twiggs

The Extension Learning Technologies (ELT) team has recently had some staff changes. In November after 13 years of working in Extension Melissa Pierce accepted a new position outside of the University and just a couple of weeks ago Terri Ebert also left Extension. We were so sad to see them go!

In December we welcomed Caleb, Extension’s new web developer. Caleb will be working on the function and security of Extension's websites as a Drupal developer. You can learn more about Caleb below.

It’s only been about a month, but so far what do you like best about Extension Learning Technology?

I love the atmosphere it provides, with a strong sense of collaboration.

If you had to eat one thing for every meal going forward, what would you eat?

Macaroni and cheese, for sure.

What do you like to do outside work?

I love playing my trombone. I just finished my final season with the Pride of Minnesota Marching Band on campus, and will be participating in the University of Minnesota Alumni Band.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I am looking forward to further working at Extension, and diving deeper into the position.

What's your favorite movie or TV show?

Star Wars for movie, Survivor for TV show.

What's your favorite app right now?

Right now, it's a tie between Facebook and Instagram.

What's your proudest accomplishment?

Creating a Drupal website for the Office of Measurement Services as an intern, with no prior Drupal experience.


What's your favorite winter activity?

Making Christmas cookies and sipping hot cocoa.

  1. Welcome Caleb! Our ELT team is awesome. I like that you are affiliated with the Marching Band as well. I used to work with Skeeter Burroughs a long time ago and he was very involved with the marching band.

    1. Yeah, Skeeter is the best. He just recently celebrated 30 years with the Marching Band :)
